Scott is an accomplished litigator and business attorney with a record of successfully representing a wide variety of clients in highly-sophisticated and complex matters.  As a litigator, Scott represents private and public businesses, boards of directors, business owners, professional athletes, and high-net worth individuals in highly complex business disputes concerning a wide-variety of matters, including commercial and real estate transactions, condo and co-op disputes, construction, contracts, business dissolutions, fraud and fiduciary duties, and employment and trade secrets.  Scott has appeared in matters located in state and federal courts, and private arbitrations, throughout the country.  Additionally, Scott advises small businesses and public corporations on corporate governance, securities and capital markets, commercial contracts, tax matters, and mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the cannabis, real estate, and construction industries.  Prior to joining Hiller, PC, Scott was a litigation and corporate governance associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and a served as U.S. General Counsel to an international technology startup.  Following law school, Scott served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and then to the Honorable George B. Daniels on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.  He is licensed to argue in the Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts of New York and the Federal District Court of New Jersey.
